The King’s Hotel is a 3 star hotel characterised by a blend of Victorian elegance and modern facilities. Following a fire in August the hotel is undergoing refurbishment with a view to re open in 18 months. In the meantime the section of the hotel that was not affected by the fire is now operational as a 26 en-suite bedroom establishment serving continental breakfast.
All 26 bedrooms have a private bathroom, direct dial telephone, tea and coffee making facilities, trouser press, iron with ironing board and hair-dryer. Free wireless broadband internet access is also offered in our ground floor lounge for all guests.
The King's hotel is located in the heart of the historic town of Darlington with immediate access to bars, shops and night life. It is just 20 minutes from the historic city of Durham. It is located 5 minutes from Darlington's train station and a short journey from Durham Tees Valley Airport.
